Folk 'n' Ale Festival returns for second year

The successful, family-friendly festival will be returning to The Old Hall Bar & Bistro on 2 August.

03 July 2025

On Saturday 2 August 2025, The Old Hall Bistro Pub will host the second edition of its greatly successful Folk 'n' Ale music and beer festival in Sark.

Folk 'n' Ale is a family-run live music event that takes place in the garden of The Old Hall Bar & Bistro, featuring a varied group of performers who will play throughout the day and evening. Those who have planned to stay the night can dance into the evening, and long into the night.

As well as a selection of beers, a large choice of ales (including Butcombe, Timothy Taylors and London Pride) will be available, as well as incredible food options. (Details are currently under wraps, but lovers of roast pork will be happy!)

There will also be some small arts and crafts stalls, and opportunities for local charities to raise money for good causes. Part of the profits will be donated to the Sark Emergency Services and to the Sark Branch of the Royal British Legion.

All are welcome for a day of live music, good food, great ales and a lot of fun!
