Guernsey Museums releases a range of events, tours, and exhibitions this half-term
This half-term, Guernsey Museums invites islanders and visitors to take a fascinating journey through the island’s wartime history with a range of events, tours and exhibitions across several historic sites.

Special Tours at the German Naval Signals HQ
Join expert guides from the Channel Island Occupation Society for exclusive tours of the German Naval Signals HQ bunker. These 45-minute to 1-hour tours offer the opportunity to explore this atmospheric Second World War site and learn more about its role during the Occupation.
2pm on 24th, 25th, 26th, 31st May & 1st June, German Naval Signals HQ
Normal admission applies. No booking required, but spaces are limited.
Free for Discovery Pass holders.
Castle Cornet Wartime Tours: Hafenschloss
From 27th to 30th May, discover the story of Castle Cornet during the Occupation and Liberation. A dedicated guide will bring history to life, accompanied by original wartime objects from the museum’s collections.
12.15pm daily, 27th–30th May, Castle Cornet
Normal admission applies. No booking needed.
Free for Discovery Pass holders.
The Liberation Trail
Take a self-guided walking tour through St Peter Port and uncover Guernsey’s wartime experience with The Liberation Trail – featuring 10 compelling stops that tell the story of Occupation, Liberation and Recovery.
New this half-term: participants can pick up a Liberation Rubbing Trail Passport and collect crayon rubbings of iconic images at each stop.

Guernsey Museum, Candie
Three engaging exhibitions are currently on display at Guernsey Museum:
- Guernsey Milk Tales – A new exhibition tracing the story of the Guernsey Dairy.
- Dear Unknown Friend – A moving installation exploring the experiences of Guernsey’s wartime evacuees (part of The Liberation Trail).
- Island Memories Project – A foyer display featuring powerful first-hand stories from the Occupation years (part of The Liberation Trail).

Fort Grey: Daily, 10am–4:30pm
Guernsey Museum at Candie: Daily, 10am–5pm
German Naval Signals HQ: Daily, 10am–4:30pm
Entry is free for Discovery Pass holders and accompanying children at all sites, tours, and activities during normal opening hours.
