Castle Cornet will be open from 10am to 5pm, with the highlight of the day being the annual 21-gun salute performed by the volunteer gun crew at noon to mark the royal birthday. The public are invited to watch this spectacular event.

At Guernsey Museum at Candie, open from 10am to 5pm, visitors can enjoy the museum’s permanent collections, as well as the current exhibition Guernsey Milk Tales, which explores the history of the Guernsey Dairy and milk production on the island.

For those eager to discover more of Guernsey’s rich heritage, Fort Grey will be open from 10.30am to 4.30pm, while the German Naval Signals HQ will welcome visitors from 10.30am to 3pm.

Head of Heritage Services, Helen Glencross said:

"We encourage locals and visitors to take advantage of free entry this Saturday and come and learn more about our museums. We have activities and trails at all our sites and at Castle Cornet, our brand-new activity space underneath the clock tower at Castle Cornet has just opened – why not come and take a look?"
