The Islands of Guernsey on your screens now!

TV advertising is currently on air in the UK, appearing on channels such as ITV1, Sky 1 and C4 using digital TV platform, Finecast.

14 January 2020

Target householders watching these stations on smart TVs, using catch up services or Amazon Prime TV devices, are being served a new 30-second television advert promoting The Islands of Guernsey.

Individuals seeing the advert live within specific target UK postcode areas, located within a 60-minute drive-time of one of our key UK departure ports. Nine different regional versions of the advert have been created, with households being served the version that references their closest air or sea port.

The degree of fine targeting achievable using digital TV versus traditional linear TV and the increased media efficiency, has allowed for a longer TV campaign to air this year. TV advertising will run for six months from January to June and is estimated to generate approximately 7 million impacts.

Initial results from the first week of the campaign are positive, with traffic to already showing a strong uplift versus the same period in 2019.
