Brittany Ferries sets new standard with early 2026 schedule release

Media release from Brittany Ferries

11 July 2025

  • Direct routes link the UK, Guernsey, France and Jersey
  • Up to 20 weekly sailings
  • Schedule supports tourism, lifeline freight and travel for Islanders
  • July launch launches four months earlier than last year and three months ahead of 2023
  • Islanders can connect to Spain and Ireland on Brittany Ferries’ network

Brittany Ferries has published next year’s timetable and is now taking bookings for travel between the Island, UK, France* and weekly to Jersey through to 03 November 2026.

The schedule closely mirrors that of 2025, offering up to eight return sailings per week to St Malo and departures on six days each week to Poole and Portsmouth. It builds on the success of the current year and supports the Island’s tourism and hospitality partners of hotels, restaurants and range of attractions through a consistent timetable and early publication.

Christophe Mathieu, CEO of Brittany Ferries and Condor Ferries, said:
“We’re excited to launch our 2026 sailings, giving customers the chance to plan ahead for the next 12 months. Booking early means the best choice of sailings and accommodation – especially popular options like pet-friendly and superior cabins – and lets returning travellers secure their 2026 trip on their return home.”

Key features of the 2026 schedule comprise high speed morning departures from St Malo and evening returns to France, which have proved very popular with visitors, along with a mix of conventional and high speed sailings to Portsmouth and Poole, respectively. The company is reporting growth on UK and France services this year compared with 2024.

Mr Mathieu added: “Brittany Ferries exists to connect people, facilitate trade and enrich the regions we serve.
“This is the earliest we have launched our Channel Islands’ timetable, so is as we promised in the tender last year. This is also important for our travel trade partners in the UK and continental Europe, as it allow them to plan further ahead, increase group bookings and broaden distribution.”

For Islanders looking to travel further, Brittany Ferries is offering 30% savings on its network when booked alongside a service from Guernsey. This includes destinations in Spain – to Santander and Bilbao – and Cork and Rosslare in Ireland and follows the initiative’s popular introduction in 2024.

Brittany Ferries has also launched a new destination guide about the Islands of Guernsey on their UK website, with further articles promoting the islands to follow. The guide, which you can read here, recommends activities across our gastronomic, art & cultural, and historical offerings, plus the best things to do in the great outdoors. It also includes recommendations for hotels and pulls in live weather data, all with the aim of supporting further bookings.

The new timetables are available at condorferries.co.uk. Customers can book either online, or over the phone with the contact centre on 0345 609 1024.

*The timings of the company’s St Malo services may vary slightly after slots at the Breton port are finalised later this summer.
