Guernsey represented at international cruise conference, Seatrade Cruise Global, in Miami, Florida
In April Mark Renouf, Cruise Operations and Business Development Manager, and Jo Ferguson, VisitGuernsey Marketing Manager, attended Seatrade Cruise Global, the largest annual gathering of the cruise industry hosting more than 600 exhibitors and 70+ cruise line brands.

The Guernsey team was located in a prime position, as part of the Cruise Britain exhibition stand, at the exhibition and conference.
The event gives an opportunity to talk with a variety of cruise brands in a setting that encourages representatives to explore new destinations such as Guernsey as well as talking to those cruise lines that already include St Peter Port within their itineraries.




2025 marked the 40th anniversary of the event, which brought together thousands of cruise professionals to network, explore emerging trends, and gain insights from industry leaders. This year Guernsey also re-joined Cruise Europe, a B2B network of cruise ports and destination. This membership benefits Guernsey by giving access to exclusive conferences and trade events, inclusion in the Cruise Europe press office, social media and newsletters distributed to key decision makers in the broader cruise industry.
The Cruise Guernsey team presented options for group, high-end, bespoke, sustainable excursions and itinerary ideas. They also shared new developments from the islands of Guernsey and the enhancements to the ports and cruise passenger arrivals areas.
One particular new opportunity available in St Peter Port is the use of Berth 1, allowing ships of up to 130m LOA (length overall) to call in alongside the harbour. Enabling guests to walk directly off the ship, rather than tendering ashore, so far for the 2025 season we have 16 ships using this new option.
Cruise Guernsey also launched a new social media channel, that encourages passengers to engage with Guernsey online, share pictures, discover activities and special offers ahead of their arrival.
