Heritage75 event bookings have started

65+ exciting events are now live on the Heritage75 pages with the final wave coming very soon, and organisers have already been receiving bookings for their activities and events.

Guernsey’s sister islands will form a large part of the festivities with pop up events at heritage sites in Alderney, a Chelsea Pensioners Lunch in Herm, unique cave discoveries in Sark and guided walks to Lihou. From 1st April right through until the end of October, all five islands will offer experiences to suit all ages and interests – some will be free, while others more exclusively ticketed.

Last weekend, Mail on Sunday journalist and history buff Sebastian O’Kelly visited the Islands of Guernsey through the visiting journalist programme organised by VisitGuernsey to get a taste of what’s to come during Heritage75. Guided walks, museum tours, tastings and talks are all on his itinerary and the trip is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the festival’s vast calendar to potential visitors.
