Keeping up with the trade at Antor
Great news that we, The Islands of Guernsey have now had 41 days clear of Covid-19!
10 June 2020
Currently we are in phase four out of a six phased plan exiting lockdown. This is very much work in progress and we are working closely with public health regarding guidelines, we of course will keep you updated.
We recognize the importance of keeping in touch with you all and it is so important for us as an Industry to keep inspiring potential customers with everything the Islands have to offer, for when the time is right to visit the Islands of Guernsey. We definitely need to be on everyone's bucket list as a 'must visit'.
This week, we went virtual, participating in a two-day digital trade show with ANTOR (Association of National Tourist Office Representatives), attended by almost 200 travel agents and tour operators. Participating tourist boards had their own “stand” to conduct meetings and there was also an auditorium where the VisitGuernsey video was played for delegates to watch throughout. It was a great way to share knowledge and showcase our wonderful islands to the trade.
We are, of course, very much looking forward to the time when we can welcome your guests and friends once again to The Islands of Guernsey. Tourism is extremely important to the economy of our Islands and we are continually supporting our local hospitality industry. We are grateful for the support and commitment of all of you our trade partners, to ensure that we can offer visitors the same quality experience that our islands are known for once we again can open up.
Please do keep in contact with us we would love to hear from you.
