Millennium Field hosts 22nd Sark-Alderney rugby match this summer
Sark’s summer calendar wouldn’t be complete without the return of a true island tradition, the annual rugby showdown between the Sark Shags and the Alderney Ridunians.

Now in its 22nd year, this much-loved game kicks off at 12:00 on Saturday 23rd August at the Millennium Field, just in front of The Captains Bar.
Visitors and locals are invited to soak up the atmosphere, with hard-fought rugby, great company, and a sunny Bank Holiday weekend on offer. After the match, there’ll be a BBQ at The Captains from 13:30. Everyone is more than welcome to stick around and enjoy the relaxed post-match atmosphere.
It’s one of those weekends that captures what Sark does best- community, spirit, and a bit of chaos. Whether you’re a local, a regular, or just passing through, we’d love to see you there soaking it all in.
