Reminder for ALL of your passengers arriving in Guernsey/Alderney

Anyone travelling to the Bailiwick of Guernsey will need to complete a Travel Tracker account.

05 July 2021

A step by step guide on how to do this, and the documentation that needs to be uploaded is available here. (please go to Slide 9).

If a traveller does not have internet access or is not able to set up an account ahead of time, please reassure them that we can assist upon arrival, but in order to do this, they must have a hard copy form of their proof of vaccination status with them.

We strongly advise that even those who have uploaded their documents online using Travel Tracker also bring a hard copy version of their proof of vaccination status.

The accepted forms of proof and the latest developments on this within the Common Travel Area are detailed here - please ensure this information is passed on to travellers:

  • Wales – You will be provided with an official proof of vaccination, which we will accept. If you need to apply for one, you can do that here. You won’t be able to download a digital copy or request a paper copy until 5 days after your second dose. Please note, it can take up to 10 days for the paper copy to arrive.
  • Scotland – Official proof of vaccination will be provided, which will be accepted. If you need to apply for one, you can do that here. Please leave plenty of time for it to arrive. We are aware some certificates MAY not have the batch number of the vaccines received on their official certification. Prior to arrival in the Bailiwick you will need register your vaccine status first and then complete a pre-arrival form. When asked for the batch number please enter N/A and continue the process to register your vaccine status.
  • Republic of Ireland – Based on the most up-to-date information no official proof of vaccination is being offered. Currently there is a Government Advisory in operation from the Republic of Ireland Department of Foreign Affairs against all non-essential international travel for its residents. We are engaging with the Irish Government to further understand what their official proof of vaccination will be, please go to their websitefor more information. As a short term interim measure, if your GP has issued you with a letter we will accept it as proof of vaccination until an official process is established.
  • England – Proof of vaccine will be provided via the NHS app or as a hard copy. NHS England websitesays the letter should arrive in 5 working days (as with Wales, the letter cannot be requested until 5 days after the second vaccination). There is also an option to order online or get the digital solution.
