Additional Sark sailings - Winter 2023

Update about additional Sunday sailings from Sark Tourism

10 November 2022

We are delighted to let you know that throughout January, February and March 2023, additional Sunday sailings are being run by Sark Shipping with the aim of enabling more visitors to stay overnight over a weekend and thus supporting island businesses.

Sark Tourism will be working together with Isle of Sark Shipping and Visit Guernsey over the coming months to advertise these sailings and encourage people to visit the Tourism website for information on Accommodation, Activities and Events etc. but we wanted to let you know about the sailings as soon as possible in order for you to plan any of your own advertising, special offers and staffing accordingly.

Additional Sunday sailings:

Sunday 8th January, Sunday 22nd January, Sunday 5th February, Sunday 19th February (Half Term), Sunday 26th February (Half Term), Sunday 12th March, Sunday 26th March

Times:

Depart Guernsey 14:00. Depart Sark 15:00

These Sunday sailings, which enable visitors to come for 1- or 2-night weekend breaks more easily (Friday evening or Saturday morning, returning Sunday afternoon), means we have an opportunity to extend the Christmas and New Year festive period further, to help to support our island economy.

  • If you have a special offer that you would like included in the 'Accommodation Specials' page of the www.sark.co.uk website, please email office@sark.co.uk with all the details.
  • If you'd like us to list an event that you're organising over any of those weekends, please email office@sark.co.uk with all the details, and a poster if applicable.

We encourage you to open over these weekends to welcome visitors to the island so that we can show that Sark remains open for business and is a year-round destination, especially for those within the Bailiwick wanting a staycation.

Additionally, if you have any offers or events you would like listed on the www.visitguernsey.com website please email enquiries@visitguernsey.com.
