Guernsey joins Cruise Britian members at Summer meeting
Guernsey was recently represented at Cruise Britain’s Summer meeting in Portland, Dorset.

The event on 13-14 June, which also included a tour of Princess Cruises’ the Regal Princess welcomed Cruise Britain members to gather and exchange knowledge, best practice, and watch presentations and a panel discussion.
Mark Renouf, Cruise and Surveys Operations Manager at The States of Guernsey attended on behalf of Guernsey.
Mark met with representatives from Princess Cruises and Ship Captain, Tim Stringer.
“Attending these British and International cruise events are very important for Guernsey’s cruise development, offering networking opportunities and understanding future trends in the industry.”
“It was great to hear from other ports and cruise stakeholders. It was mentioned that the appetite for British Isles cruise is increasing with American and British passengers. We know Guernsey is the ideal port of call for these routes as well as those returning to the south of England from the Mediterranean.”
