Harbour Visitor figures

Update from Guernsey Harbours

24 June 2022

‘We’ve been comparing figures between June 2019 and June 2022 for paid visitors to the Marinas and are pleased to see that numbers are competitively close.

In June 2019 we saw around 1,500 visitors to Guernsey through the pier heads. This year, we’re only just behind at around 1,270. However we expect to exceed that by the end of this month.

We have some events happening over the weekend including the first Spirit Yacht Regatta sponsored by Locate Guernsey, as well as the Inter-Island Yacht Race between Guernsey and Jersey sponsored by Savills with Mr Alex Thompson attending as a special guest.

Both events are expecting to pull in a large number of visitors over the weekend which we are already seeing this evening as the weekend kicks into action.’
