Hospitality sector recruitment marketing campaign launching soon

We understand that recruitment has been one of the biggest challenges you have faced this year. As part of the work we are doing with VisitGuernsey, we are committed to offering as much support as we can.

18 October 2021

At the request of the Guernsey Hospitality Association, we will soon be launching a recruitment marketing campaign. This will be specifically targeting those working in the hospitality sector, encouraging more people to consider working here in the Islands of Guernsey.

We have produced a film highlighting various sectors within the industry, which will be going out as a paid campaign on social and digital, that will link through to a microsite that has some broad information about the Islands, requirements etc. There will be links through to local hospitality-specific recruitment websites, each of which presents different options and services. In the first instance, these will be:

Caterquest Recruitment Services

The Channel Islands Jobs Board

Initially we will be targeting UK and EU-settled, then forging links further afield in countries where we know there is a pool we may be able to draw from.

This film will also be an asset that anyone in industry can share on their own social media accounts, website etc and will be available to download from our trade and media site as soon as the campaign is live.

We hope that this campaign will generate interest in working in hospitality in the Islands of Guernsey, and we are committed to continuing to offer support in this area, which we appreciate remains challenging.
