The Manche Iles Express Company is delighted to announce that bookings for the season 2025 are now open.
The resumption of the sailings will take place on Thursday April 10 2025 departing from Carteret to Jersey, on Friday April 18 2025 departing from Diélette to Guernsey, on Thursday April 24 2025 departing from Granville to Jersey, on Friday May 9 2025 departing from Jersey to Guernsey and on Saturday, May 10 2025, departing from Jersey to Sark.
The Manche Iles Express Company will offer regular sailings until the end of September 2025.
The governments of Jersey and Guernsey have decided to extend - until September 2025 - the pilot project allowing French nationals to visit the Channel Islands for the day using their valid identity card to stimulate the local economy and ferry operators, as well as to encourage cultural and historical ties with France.
French nationals (adults and children) must have a valid national identity card that is less than 10 years old. The automatic 5-year extension of old national identity cards is no longer accepted in the Channel Islands. Citizens from other countries, both from the European Union and outside the EU, those making a one-way trip, or those staying several days on the islands must have a valid passport and, for certain nationalities, a visa.
For inter-island travel a photographic ID is required.
The figures for Manche Iles Express in 2024 have been very encouraging despite the economic and political context, as the company transported over 56,000 passengers compared to 53,000 in 2023.
