May's trade update

Latest update from the team. With the summer holidays approaching us, we are optimistic for a positive season for our islands.

25 May 2022

Consumers still feel cautious about travelling and a late booking pattern is evident however we feel the islands have an opportunity to shine, as a safe and welcoming choice which is close to home.

Here’s a roundup of our latest news

Thank you very much

Thank you very much to those who filled in the Occupancy Survey, it provides us with really important data that we can shape and tailor our marketing campaigns around. It also helps us to identify ways we can support you and your business.

If you haven't completed the May survey yet, there is still time to do so before the end of the month.

Cruise passenger feedback

The Cruise Meet and Greet team has gathered some useful information on what passengers are asking for when they arrive in St Peter Port. Local food and drink recommendations are asked for frequently so we’ve shared the specifics below and feel there could be potential to have taster menu’s or new tours incorporating food experiences.

• Local seafood
• Fish and chips
• Cream tea
• Coffee and cake
• Guernsey ice cream
• Drinks outside
• Guernsey Gache
