Spitfires return to Guernsey
'Due to the popularity of our first visit in September, we’re coming back to the beautiful island of Guernsey and opening further dates to come and fly in a Spitfire.'

In September, the first Spitfire flight took off from Guernsey Airport. This was the first time in history that Spitfire flight experiences have been offered on the Island. Guests were seated in their very own cockpit, kitted out with a full set of controls, and had the opportunity to take the controls and fly the legendary aircraft and experience the signature Spitfire acrobatics.
We're thrilled that Spitfires.com are now able to fly from Guernsey's Aero Club, it's fantastic to see them in the skies as we head towards our 80th anniversary for Liberation Day. It offers a really unique experience and bolsters our heritage programme.

The opportunity to fly in one of our two-seater Spitfires proved to be incredibly popular during our first visit at the end of August and the beginning of September. Due to demand (and for those who might have missed out first time around), we’re coming back and offering more flight experiences in the most significant aircraft to grace our skies, the Supermarine Spitfire! We have three two-seater Spitfires in our fleet and we’re in a position to offer more flights in more locations than we ever have before.
Whilst flying a Spitfire anywhere is always privilege, taking off from Guernsey Airport and heading towards the ruggedly beautiful coastline and turquoise water and on to sights such as Castle Cornet promises to be truly mesmerizing. Even during the shortest of flights we offer, we will be able to circumnavigate the entire Island, which is incredibly special for Guernsey residents who come to fly
with us.”
