St Peter Port voted as one of the hottest destinations for UK travellers!
Tripadvisor’s Spring Travel Index, which has been picked by the National media, has named St Peter Port as number four in the list of fastest growing UK destinations, based on year-on-year growth.

Tripadvisor is the world's largest travel guidance platform and the Travel Index provides insight into travel demand this season (March 1-May 31), using a combination of demand and data to reveal attitudes and trends of UK travellers over the next three months.
Despite the rising cost of living in the UK, travel is still a growing priority for Brits, with almost half (45%) intending to travel more than they did last year. Almost three quarters (71%) of Brits planning trips this Spring, compared to just over half (54%) in the same period last year.
Affordability remains an important factor for Brits planning trips - almost twice (69%) as important as trip length (36%) and trip type (32%).
The data was collated from two sources –
- A Tripadvisor Consumer Sentiment Survey, based on data drawn from an online survey of over 2,100 consumers, conducted between 8th and 20th January 2023, across five countries - U.S., UK, Australia, Singapore and Japan.
- Site behavioural data sourced from first party traffic data on the Tripadvisor platform, gathered between 1st Dec 2022 and 25th Jan 2023, for searches made by travellers in the U.S., U.K., Australia, Japan and Singapore for travel between 1st March through to 31st May 2023.
Next week, VisitGuernsey will launch a collaborative advertising campaign with Tripadvisor, the first of its kind.
Tripadvisor users based in the UK will be shown the creative, with up to 122,000 impressions from when the ad goes live until at least 27th March.
